Robin David Segal, better known by his stage name, Robby Benson, is an American actor, singer, musician, director, producer, writer, composer, and educator. For Disney, he is best known for providing the voice of Prince Adam/The Beast in the 1991 animated feature film Beauty and the Beast. He reprised the role in the two direct-to-video midquels The Enchanted Christmas and Belle's Magical World, the House of Mouse series (as well as the direct-to-video special Mickey's Magical Christmas), the tribute short Once Upon a Studio, and various Disney video games (including the Kingdom Hearts series).
