Pinocchio is the titular main protagonist of Disney's 2nd full-length animated feature film of the same name, which is based on the original 1883 novel, The Adventures of Pinocchio by the late Carlo Collodi. He is a living puppet, who must prove himself worthy to become a real boy, with the help of Jiminy Cricket as his conscience.
He was voiced by the late Dickie Jones in the film, and Seth Adkins voices him in the Kingdom Hearts series and other media. He first appeared in some ads created by Walt Disney in 1939. So Pinocchio became a Disney Character before the movie was released.
