Carles Cañizares (Barcelona, 1993) encourages his passion for music at the age of fifteen when he decides to start studying electric guitar. His first years are dedicated to modern music; playing with some bands as guitarist, bassist, and drummer. Four years later goes to Taller de Músics in Barcelona to study Jazz & Modern guitar with Gnaposs and Àngel Ferrer; as well as Harmony & Composition with Vicens Martin and Jordi Lalanza.

In 2017 he begins a Composition degree in ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) where he studies composition with Mauricio Sotelo and Bernat Vivancos. He also works and studies Filmscore and Orchestration with Albert Guinovart and Arnau Bataller. He's actually in his last degree year still studying with Arnau Bataller.
